Rochelle on Kodak, WaMu Bankruptcies, Mohegan Sun: Audio

Jan. 27 (Bloomberg) -- The Eastman Kodak Co. creditors' committee has a composition that seems inclined to help the company avoid total liquidation, as Bloomberg Law's Lee Pacchia and Bloomberg News bankruptcy columnist Bill Rochelle analyze on their bankruptcy podcast. Rochelle discusses the issues involved when the bankruptcy judge must decide whether to facilitate a global settlement by retracting 30 pages from an opinion she wrote in September finding cause to sue noteholders for allegedly trading debt of Washington Mutual Inc. based on non-public information. The podcast ends with an analysis of whether the exchange offer for Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority solves the casino operator's financial problems or only kicks the can down the road.
