Slovenia Budget Review May Be Passed in June, Finance Reports

Jan. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Slovenia, which has been without an official government since September, may pass a review of this year’s budget spending in June if cuts are prepared by March, Finance newspaper reported, citing Helena Kamnar, the general secretary of the outgoing administration.

Janez Jansa, whose party came second in a snap vote last month and may form a new Cabinet, said the government will need to lower spending by 800 million euros ($1.03 billion), according to the Ljubljana-based newspaper.
