Mozambique to Spend $200 Million to Link Power Grid, AIM Reports

Jan. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Mozambique plans to spend $200 million to connect all the districts of the country to its national electricity grid by 2013, Agencia de Informacao de Mocambique reported, citing Energy Minister Salvador Namburete.

The project will be funded by government, international donors and Electricidade de Mocambique, the state power company, the Maputo-based news agency cited Namburete as saying.
