Jan. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Manroland AG got a 100 million-euro ($127 million) bid from U.S. investor Platinum Equity, Augsburger Allgemeine Zeitung said, citing unidentified employees.
Platinum Equity is interested in all three of the insolvent printing press maker’s sites in Offenbach, Augsburg and Plauen, the newspaper said. An unidentified German industrial investor is bidding for Manroland’s Augsburg plant, Augsburger Allgemeine said.
