Greece Plans Tax Cuts for Business, Individuals, To Vima Says

Jan. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Greece may reduce the tax burden on private individuals and businesses as part of plans for a new national tax system, To Vima said, without citing anyone.

Particular attention will be paid to lowering tax on industries that have seen a marked slowdown in economic activity such as real estate, the Athens-based newspaper said.

The new tax legislation will be simplified and adopt international practices for combating tax evasion, To Vima said.
