Jan. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Banco di Sicilia foundation won’t take part in UniCredit SpA’s planned share sale, la Repubblica reported, citing Chairman Giovanni Puglisi.
Puglisi said it’s “inevitable” that new investors will buy shares during the lender’s capital increase, Repubblica said. The Banco di Sicilia foundation owns less than 1 percent in UniCredit.
