Jan. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Coffee exports from Costa Rica climbed 2.6 percent last month, according to the Costa Rican Coffee Institute, known as Icafe.
Shipments totaled 78,300 bags of 60 kilograms (132 pounds) in December, up from 76,322 bags a year earlier, Icafe said yesterday in an e-mailed statement.
Exports for the season started in October advanced 17 percent to 187,791 bags, from 160,856 in the same period a year earlier, Icafe data showed.
