Dec. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the previous close.
The Jakarta Composite index fell 0.2 percent to 3,789.43.
Energy companies: Crude-oil futures rose 1.7 percent to $101.34 a barrel in New York yesterday, gaining for a sixth straight day in the longest rally since the period ended Nov. 8, 2010. PT Medco Energi Internasional (MEDC IJ), Indonesia’s biggest listed oil company, fell 1 percent to 2,450 rupiah and PT Energi Mega Persada (ENRG IJ), the second largest, advanced 1.2 percent to 175 rupiah.
PT Sarana Menara Nusantara (TOWR IJ): A unit of the company obtained a 2 trillion rupiah ($218 million) loan from PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BBNI IJ), Sarana Menara said in a statement to the Indonesia Stock Exchange. PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia will use the proceeds to acquire telecommunication towers and buy stakes in tower companies, the company said. Sarana Menara was unchanged at 10,000 rupiah when it last traded Dec. 23. Bank Negara Indonesia, the nation’s third-biggest state owned bank, fell 1.9 percent to 3,850 rupiah.
