Sony Has ‘So Much More’ TV Content than Rivals, Stringer Says

Sony Corp. has “so much more content” to offer television consumers than its competitors and hopes to use its network based on gaming systems to deliver it, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Howard Stringer told CNBC.

Sony now connects 300 million networked products, including 100 million televisions, Stringer told the financial news channel.

“So we can get in and compete with Apple and others in that world,” he said.
