Dec. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik may build an entry-level car for Nissan Motor Co.’s Infiniti premium brand using Daimler AG parts, Automotive News Europe reported, citing unidentified company officials.
Magna could build 60,000 cars a year at its plant in Graz, Austria, using pre-assembled parts including engines from Daimler’s Mercedes-Benz brand, the report said. Magna and Nissan are expected to finalize such a contract in early 2012, it said.
