Nissan’s Misaki Says China’s Auto Sales Growth Is Sustainable

Dec. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Masami Misaki, Nissan Motor Co.’s vice president for China operations, comments on prospects for auto sales in the country in 2012. He spoke in an interview in Beijing today.

On China’s auto demand in 2012:

The increase in auto sales in China “will continue for sustainable growth. Growth next year will be a bit higher than this year.”

China’s overall auto sales gain in 2012 “may be beyond 10 percent” if demand for commercial vehicles increases.

On Nissan’s growth in China next year:

“We would like to continue this year’s growth in China.”
