Dec. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Credit Agricole SA is planning to eliminate about 2,000 jobs, Le Figaro reported, citing a person with knowledge of the matter. Most of the jobs will go at the lender’s investment bank unit CIB, where 1,500 jobs will be cut, the newspaper said.
Messages left on the voicemail of Credit Agricole’s press office outside office hours today weren’t immediately answered.
