Vietnam Stocks Movers: Cotec, Infonet, Sacombank Securities

Dec. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Vietnam trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close.

The VN Index, the benchmark measure of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, fell 0.8 percent to 387.21.

Cotec Investment and Land-house Development Joint-Stock Co. (CLG VN), a property company, climbed 4.1 percent to 12,700 dong, the highest close since July 6.

Japan’s Tama Global Investment Pte. will buy a 20 percent stake in the company, Lao Dong newspaper reported today, without saying where it got the information. The report didn’t provide a timeframe or value for the deal.

Information & Networking Technology Joint-Stock Co. (CMT VN), a telecommunications consulting service provider, rose 4.9 percent to 8,500 dong. The company will pay its shareholders a dividend of 1,000 dong on Feb. 22, it said in a statement filed on the bourse’s website.

Sacombank Securities Joint-Stock Co. (SBS VN), fell 2.3 percent to 4,200 dong. The Ho Chi Minh City-based company will shut down its Tay Do branch in Can Tho City this month, according to a company statement on the exchange’s website.
