Dec. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Indonesia, Southeast Asia’s largest crude producer, awarded rights to explore six oil and gas blocks to companies including Niko Resources Ltd. and Serica Energy Plc, the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry said.
The government also awarded exploration rights to three companies for seven coal-bed methane projects, the ministry said in a statement on its website today. Total investment commitments for the oil and gas blocks are $38.15 million and for CBM are $35.65 million, the ministry said.
