Dec. 5 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 4:10 p.m. Lima time.
The Lima General Index rose for the fifth session in six, adding 0.1 percent to 20,200.38. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 0.7 percent to 2,587.68.
Industrial and mining stocks gained as U.S. stocks and metals advanced, Jose Luis Bustamante, head of trading at Cartisa SAB, said in a telephone interview.
Refineria la Pampilla SA (RELAPAC1 PE), a unit of Repsol YPF SA, rose 2.2 percent to 92 centimos. Cia. Minera Atacocha SA (ATACOBC1 PE), the Lima-based lead and silver mining company, climbed 2.2 percent to 94 centimos. Empresa Siderurgica del Peru SAA (SIDERC1 PE), a unit of Gerdau SA known as Siderperu, gained 2.1 percent to 95 centimos. Cementos Pacasmayo SAA (CPACASC1 PE), the Hochschild Group’s cement producer, climbed 2 percent to 5.02 soles. Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO PE), the country’s biggest producer of the metal, rose 1.8 percent to $31.20.
