Romania’s RCS&RDS Obtains $266 Million Credit, ZF Reports

RCS&RDS SA, a Romanian telecommunications company, borrowed 200 million euros ($266 million) from Banca Comerciala Romana SA, Credit Suisse Group AG and CEC Bank SA, Ziarul Financiar reported, citing unidentified people with knowledge of the matter.

Banca Comerciala, Romania’s biggest bank by assets, lent 100 million euros, Credit Suisse 75 million and CEC Bank 25 million, according to the Bucharest-based newspaper.

In April, ZF reported that RCS&RDS might bid for a competitor, Liberty Global Inc.’s UPS Romania SA.
