InterOil, Masimo, Netflix, Pozen: U.S. Equity Market Movers

Nov. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies are having unusual moves in U.S. trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the 1 p.m. close in New York.

InterOil Corp. (IOC US) jumped 6.2 percent to $55.64 after falling 14 percent the previous session, the most since Oct. 3. The Canadian natural-gas explorer and oil refiner and Pacific LNG Operations Ltd. signed an agreement with Gunvor Singapore Pte. Ltd. to supply 1 million metric tons a year of liquefied natural gas.

Masimo Corp. (MASI US) jumped 3.1 percent, the most since Oct. 24, to $18.40. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Joe Kiani bought shares of maker of medical devices this week, according to a regulatory filing.

Netflix Inc. (NFLX US) fell the most in the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index, sinking 6.9 percent to $63.81. The video-streaming and DVD subscription service dropped for a third day after agreeing to sell $400 million in stock and convertible notes to bolster cash for increased spending for online rights to films and TV shows. Google Inc.’s (GOOG US) YouTube announced a deal with Walt Disney Co. (DIS US) on Nov. 23 to offer rentals of the studio’s movies.

Pozen Inc. (POZN US) surged 44 percent, the most in the Russell 2000 Index, to $3.50. The pharmaceutical company said it sold some royalties arising from sales of MT 400, including Treximet, for $75 million to CPPIB Credit Investments.
