Nov. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Vietnam trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close.
The VN Index, the benchmark measure of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, rose 0.7 percent to 381.76, the first gain in four days.
Binh Minh Plastics Joint-Stock Co. (BMP VN), which manufactures plastic pipes, increased 4.9 percent to 38,500 dong. The company will pay its shareholders a dividend of 2,000 dong a share on Dec. 22, it said in a statement filed on the exchange’s website.
Long Hau Corp. (LHG VN), which operates an industrial park in the southern province of Long An, rose for a fifth day, gaining 3.7 percent to 28,400 dong. It plans to pay a dividend of 1,000 dong a share on Dec. 29, according to a statement on the bourse’s website.
