Nov. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Nordea Bank AB continues to lend to new and existing business customers in Norway, Dagens Naeringsliv reported, citing Gunn Waersted, head of the lender’s Norwegian unit.
The bank hasn’t become more reserved and is running its business the same as six months ago, Waersted told the Oslo-based newspaper. Still, borrowers should expect to pay more for their loans, she said.
Norway’s largest bank, DNB ASA, has closed lending to new business customers because of stricter capital standards, the newspaper reported last week.
