Nov. 21 (Bloomberg) -- International Monetary Fund Deputy Managing Director Zhu Min said that global growth is slowing down “significantly.”
“Global economic structure has really gone through a fundamental structure change,” he said at a conference in Vienna today.
After a global GDP growth of 5 percent last year according to IMF measures and the forecast this year for 4.4 percent was lowered to 4 percent in October, he said. “And I can tell you, even that number becomes too optimistic -- if we further adjust that it can only go down.”
