Nov. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Genel Energy Plc, the largest oil producer in Iraqi Kurdistan, fell in its London debut.
The company slid 83 pence, or 8.3 percent, to 912 pence. Genel plans to start acquisition talks with Norway’s DNO International ASA after completing a merger with Vallares Plc, headed by ex-BP Plc chief Tony Hayward, President Mehmet Sepil said on Nov. 15.
Hayward is seeking a possible new deal in Iraq after completing the Genel deal, the Sunday Times said Nov. 20.
