Copper Falls as Growth Concerns Threaten Demand: LME Preview

Nov. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Copper dropped for a third day as Japan’s exports fell and Singapore warned of slower growth, deepening concerns global economic expansion may slow amid debt crises in the U.S. and Europe, curbing demand for raw materials.

-- Copper fell $60.25, or 0.8 percent, to $7,464.75 a metric ton
by 7:27 a.m. on the London Metal Exchange. Relative Strength
Index 44.2.
-- Aluminum gained 0.4 percent to $2,117.75 a ton. RSI 43.7.
-- Zinc dropped 1.5 percent to $1,936.25 a ton. RSI 49.8.
-- Lead fell 0.7 percent to $2,045 a ton. RSI 51.9.
-- Nickel gained 0.3 percent to $17,700 a ton. RSI 40.7.
-- Tin fell 0.6 percent to $21,150 a ton. RSI 43.7.
