Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies are having unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 10:57 a.m. Lima time.
The Lima General Index fell for a second session, losing 0.3 percent to 19,240.18. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index was little changed at 2,510.72.
Industrial and mining stocks slumped on investor concerns European leaders will be unable to solve the region’s debt crisis, said Jorge Ramirez, a trader at Lima-based brokerage Coril SAB.
Empresa Siderurgica del Peru SAA (SIDERC1 PE), a unit of Gerdau SA known as Siderperu, fell 4.4 percent to 86 centimos. Cia. Minera Atacocha SA (ATACOBC1 PE), the Lima-based zinc and silver mining company, declined 4.3 percent to 88 centimos. Cia. de Minas Buenaventura SAA (BVN PE), the country’s biggest precious-metals miner, dropped 2.7 percent to $39.40. Volcan Cia. Minera SAA (VOLCABC1 PE), Peru’s largest zinc producer, slid 0.7 percent to 2.98 soles.
