Nov. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Teck Resources Ltd., a Vancouver-based coal and copper producer, said a waste-treatment plant at its Trail site is operating again following an earlier shutdown because of a discharge into the Columbia River.
The plant is operating at “normal rates,” Marcia Smith, a spokeswoman for Teck, said today in an e-mail.
Teck said in a Nov. 9 statement that an investigation was under way into the incident, which didn’t create any health or safety risks, Teck said.
