Nov. 14 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies are having unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 12:18 p.m. Lima time.
The Lima General Index fell 0.4 percent to 19,367.94. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index slid 0.6 percent to 2,598.67.
Industrial and mining stocks dropped on investor concern that Europe will struggle to contain its sovereign debt crisis, said Roberto Flores, head of research at Lima-based brokerage Inteligo SAB.
Candente Copper Corp. (DNT PE), a Canadian mining exploration company with operations in Peru, plunged 5 percent to $1.34. Austral Group SA (AUSTRAC1 PE), a unit of Austevoll Seafood ASA, fell 3.6 percent to 27 centimos. Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML PE), a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, declined 2.2 percent to 45 cents. Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO PE), Peru’s biggest copper producer, dropped 1.9 percent to $31.20. Volcan Cia. Minera SAA (VOLCABC1 PE), Peru’s largest zinc producer, fell 1.8 percent to 2.71 soles.
