Nov. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Vietnam trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close.
The VN Index, the benchmark measure of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, fell 1.2 percent to 396.30.
National Seed Joint-Stock Co. (NSC VN), which exports products such as rice seeds, dropped 1.5 percent to 33,500 dong. The company will list an extra new 240,000 shares, according to a statement on the bourse’s website which didn’t give a timeframe for the listing.
Vinacafe Bien Hoa Joint-Stock Co. (VCF VN), a unit of Vietnam’s second-biggest coffee exporter, fell 1 percent to 101,000 dong, the lowest since Oct. 26.
Vietnam’s coffee production may drop 5 percent for 2011-2012 crop to 18.5 million bags, the International Coffee Organization said yesterday.
