Thailand Stocks: Eastern Water, Minor, TKS, Thai Rubber Latex

Nov. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Thailand trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Bangkok.

The SET Index rose 0.3 percent to 970. The gauge gained 1.4 percent this week.

Eastern Water Resources Development & Management Pcl (EASTW TB), a water supplier, climbed 2.6 percent to 5.85 baht, the most since Nov. 1. Net income for the quarter ended Sept. 30 climbed 24 percent to 241.4 million baht ($7.8 million).

Minor International Pcl (MINT TB), Thailand’s largest operator of fast-food restaurant chains, gained 1.9 percent to 10.7 baht, the first increase in three days. Net income in the third quarter rose to 1.31 billion baht from a profit of 126.2 million baht in the same period last year.

TKS Technologies Pcl (TKS TB), a maker of business forms, jumped 9.1 percent to 6 baht, the largest increase since May 12. Net income in the third quarter doubled to 78.6 million baht ($2.55 million).

Thai Rubber Latex Corp. (Thailand) Pcl (TRUBB TB), a producer of rubber latex, slid 4.9 percent to 3.12 baht, the most since Sept. 26. Net loss widened to 85.8 million baht in the third quarter from a loss of 4.3 million baht in the same period last year.
