Gold Futures Pare Gains After Berlusconi Wins Italy Budget Vote

Nov. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Gold, little changed in New York, pared earlier gains after Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi won a vote today in parliament on last year’s budget report, even as he failed to muster an absolute majority.

Futures for December delivery rose 0.1 percent to $1,792.40 an ounce at 10:22 a.m. on the Comex. Earlier, the price climbed as much as 0.4 percent.
