Nov. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Norske Skogindustrier ASA said it has reached the negotiation stage with a potential buyer for its Parenco mill and the recovered paper business of Reparco Group in the Netherlands.
Norske Skog will provide more information when the deal is presented to and approved by the relevant governing bodies of the two parties, the Lysaker, Norway-based company said in a statement today.
The company rose as much as 19 percent and was up 13.8 percent at 5.03 kroner as as of 4 p.m. in Oslo. The stock has dropped 64 percent this year.
