Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Vietnam trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close.
The VN Index, the benchmark measure of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, rose 0.2 percent to 408.44.
Mekophar Chemical Pharmaceutical Joint-Stock Co. (MKP VN), a drugmaker, rose 3.3 percent to 62,000 dong. It plans to pay shareholders a dividend of 1,000 dong a share on Nov. 28, according to a statement on the bourse’s website.
Sonadezi Long Thanh Shareholding Co. (SZL VN), a residential real-estate developer, increased 1.6 percent to 13,000 dong. The company will pay a dividend of 1,000 dong a share on Nov. 30, it said in a statement posted on the exchange’s website.
