RHI AG, an Austrian maker of fireproof materials, said third-quarter earnings increased to 41 million euro from 40.5 million euros a year earlier.
It was expected to report a profit of 29.2 million euros accoridng to the average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. Sales rose 13 percent to 429.8 million euros, compared to an analyst estimate of 422.8 million euros.
RHI said it expects business to “slow down moderately” in the months until the second quarter of 2012. The Vienna-based group sees revenue in the second half of the year matching that of the first half, and earnings before interest and tax in the fourth quarter to match that of the third quarter, it said in a statement today.
