Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., the insurer that reported zero profit in the third quarter, said it reduced the workforce by 1,600 since 2010.
The company is “on track to becoming a more efficient organization,” Chief Financial Officer Christopher Swift said today In a conference call with analysts. Hartford is based in the Connecticut city of the same name.
