Nov. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Prices in Istanbul, Turkey’s biggest city, rose 3.1 percent in October, the city’s Chamber of Commerce said.
Annual inflation in Istanbul was unchanged at 6.1 percent in the month, the chamber said today by telephone.
Turkey’s state statistics agency will announce nationwide inflation data for October on Nov. 3. It is expected to show an acceleration of 7 percent annually compared with 6.2 percent in September, according to the median estimate in a Bloomberg survey of eight economists.
