Oct. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Egypt’s benchmark EGX 30 Index advanced 2.6 percent, the most in more than two months, to 4,452.81 at the 2:30 p.m. close in Cairo.

Arab Cotton Ginning (ACGC EY) gained 1.3 percent to 3.16 Egyptian pounds, the highest level in more than a month. Today is the last day for shareholders to be eligible to receive the company’s 20-piaster dividend to be paid Nov. 2.
Eastern Co. (EAST EY) advanced 1 percent to 98 pounds, the highest level in more than six weeks. Egypt’s monopoly cigarette producer will pay shareholders as of today a 6-pound dividend on Nov. 2.
