Gazprom Asks Putin for Transfer-Pricing Waiver, Vedomosti Says

OAO Gazprom has asked Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin not to apply transfer-pricing controls to the gas export monopoly’s subsidiaries, Vedomosti reported, citing a letter from Chief Executive Officer Alexey Miller to Putin on Sept. 27.

New tax controls on transfer pricing come into force next year, the newspaper said. A representative of Gazprom declined to comment, Vedomosti reported.
