Oct. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Two Indonesian children on the resort island of Bali died after contracting the H5N1 strain of bird flu, Deutsche Presse-Agentur reported today, citing an official at Sanglah hospital, where the siblings were treated.

The brother, 10, and his sister, 5, came into contact with dead foul in their Bangli district neighborhood, DPA cited Elzarita Arbain as saying.

Two other people on Bali have died from bird flu, in 2007 and 2008, DPA reported.
