Ericsson Seeks Fair Play on Smartphone Patents, FTD Reports

Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Ericsson AB is pushing for fair play among competitors on smartphone patents, Financial Times Deutschland reported, citing Kasim Alfalahi, the company’s chief intellectual property officer.

“No one owns all necessary rights in the mobile phone industry,” the newspaper quoted the executive as saying in an article published today. The number of patent disputes within the industry will keep growing, according to Alfalahi.
