Sept. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Italian Finance Minister Giulio Tremonti doesn’t plan to resign, Corriere della Sera reported.
“They haven’t got the tools to get rid of me,” the newspaper cited Tremonti as saying.
Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi considered a move to end Tremonti’s relationship with the government, while Undersecretary Gianni Letta stopped him, the newspaper said.
