Sept. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Vietnam trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the 11 a.m. local-time close.
The VN Index, the benchmark measure of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, rose 0.4 percent, to 449.26.
Urban Development and Construction Corp. (UDC VN) increased 3.5 percent to 6,000 dong. The company plans to pay its shareholders a dividend of 785 dong a share on Oct. 26, it said in a statement on the exchange’s website.
Truong Long Engineering and Auto Joint-Stock Co. (HTL VN) gained 3.5 percent to 8,800 dong. It will pay its shareholders a dividend of 500 dong a share on Oct. 12.
