Sept. 22 (Bloomberg) -- India will review on Sept. 26 an estimate of sugar output by the food ministry, Farm Minister Sharad Pawar said in New Delhi today.
Sugar production in the country may be 24.6 million metric tons in the year starting October, compared with 24.3 million tons this year, Food Minister K.V. Thomas said yesterday.
Output may be as much as 26 million tons next year, Pawar said.
