Ex-Yugoslav States Settle Dispute Over Embassies, Novosti Says

States that emerged from the collapse of Yugoslavia settled a 20-year old dispute over 44 embassies and residencies in countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Vecernje Novosti newspaper reported, citing a Serbian official.

An estimated $65.4 million of the real estate will be divided among the successor states by August 2012 and some will be sold, Novosti reported, citing Vladimir Curguz, an official at Serbia’s Foreign Ministry.
