Sri Lanka Reaches 166-2, Trails Australia by 150 in Cricket Test

Kumar Sangakkara’s unbeaten 61 helped Sri Lanka reach 166-2 on day two of the third cricket Test against Australia in Colombo.

Tharanga Paranavitana scored 46 runs and Mahela Jayawardene is 31 not out in Sri Lanka’s response to Australia’s first innings 316. Michael Hussey scored 118, his second century of the series, for the visitors.

Australia won the opener of the three-game series by 125 runs, while the second Test was drawn. Australia will move above Sri Lanka to fourth in the International Cricket Council Test rankings by winning the series.
