Sept. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 Index gained 993.75, or 1.8 percent, to 57,115.64, its highest since Aug. 4.

Alarko Holding AS (ALARK TI), a builder and energy company, rose 7 kurus, or 2.4 percent, to 3.02 liras. The company will build two gas-fired power plants in Turkey with a capacity of 500 megawatts each, chairman Ishak Alaton said at a conference in Istanbul today.
Trabzonspor Sportif Yatirim & Futbol Isletmeciligi TAS (TSPOR TI), the merchandizing arm of the Trabzonspor soccer club from Turkey’s largest Black Sea coastal city, surged 1.55 liras, or 7.8 percent, to 21.40 liras after the team beat three-time champion Inter Milan 1-0 in its debut in soccer’s Champion’s League group stage.
Turkiye Halk Bankasi AS (HALKB TI), a state-run bank, gained 45 kurus, or 4 percent, to 11.80 liras, its highest since Aug. 3. The company expects profit to rise this year, according to Chief Executive Officer Suleyman Aslan.
