Bharti Gains After Kenyan Unit Starts Online-Payment Service

Sept. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Bharti Airtel Ltd. rose as much as 1.2 percent in Mumbai trading after the telecom service provider’s Kenyan unit started a service that enables mobile-phone users to make payments online.

The shares added 1 percent to 381.25 rupees as of 9:20 a.m. local time.
