Sept. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Japanese investors were net sellers of foreign bonds during the week ended Sept. 9 according to figures based on reports from designated major investors released by the Ministry of Finance in Tokyo.
Japanese investors sold 468.4 billion yen ($6.1 billion) in overseas bonds and notes, bought 64.7 billion yen in overseas stocks and sold 23 billion yen in overseas short term securities. That results in a total net sale of 426.7 billion yen.
Foreign investors bought 762.1 billion yen in Japanese bonds, sold 588.9 billion yen in stocks, and bought 553.1 billion yen in short term securities, resulting in a total net purchase of 726.3 billion yen.
