NedSense, Devgen, D’Ieteren: Benelux Equity Preview

The following companies may have unusual price changes in Benelux markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the previous close.

The AEX-Index in Amsterdam lost 0.7 percent to 276.60. Belgium’s Bel20 Index fell 0.5 percent to 2,170.95. Luxembourg’s LuxX Index declined 0.6 percent to 1,118.96.

Dutch stocks:

NedSense Enterprises NV (NEDSE NA): The software maker may report a loss before interest and taxes of 626,000 euros ($908,000) in the first half of 2011 as a result of rising costs related to the rollout of the Loft software line, analyst Martin Crum at AEK Research said. NedSense gained 2.7 percent to 38 cents.

Belgian stocks:

Devgen NV (DEVG BB): The Belgian developer of hybrid rice, sunflower, sorghum and pearl millet said the first-half net loss narrowed to 257,000 euros on a 45 percent increase in revenue. Devgen rose 2.7 percent to 5.30 euros.

D’Ieteren SA (DIE BB): Belgium’s biggest car dealer is considering “one or two” new lines of business now that it sold rental company Avis Europe, managing director Jean-Pierre Bizet said. D’Ieteren fell 4.3 percent to 35.09 euros.
