AB Science, Ales, Bastide, Naturex : French Equity Preview

Aug. 26 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies’ shares may be active in Paris. Symbols are in parentheses after company names and prices are from the last close.

France’s CAC 40 Index fell 20.55, or 0.7 percent, to 3,119. The SBF 120 Index declined 0.5 percent.

AB Science SA (AB FP): The French drugmaker plans to sell 7.5 million euros ($10.8 million) of convertible bonds. The bonds will pay interest of 1.25 percent and are convertible into stock at a price of 12.65 euros a share. The shares gained 15 percent to 7.85 euros.

Ales Groupe (ALPHY FP): The maker of Laboratoires Lierac cosmetics said second-quarter revenue rose to 52.4 million euros from 43.5 million euros. The shares rose 1.4 percent to 12.43 euros.

Avenir Telecom SA (AVT FP): The distributor of mobile telecommunications equipment said first-quarter revenue fell to 103.2 million euros from 129 million euros. The shares fell 1.4 percent to 71 euro cents.

Bastide le Confort Médical (BLC FP): The provider of home health-care services said full-year revenue rose 9.2 percent to 109.1 million euros. The shares fell 0.4 percent to 7.70 euros.

Naturex (NRX FP): The producer of natural vegetable ingredients and extracts said first-half net income rose to 9.7 million euros from 7.6 million euros. The stock rose 0.5 percent to 53.58 euros.
