The Bovespa Index was little changed at 53,795.70.
LLX Logistica SA (LLXL3 BS), the port developer controlled by Brazilian billionaire Eike Batista, increased 5.6 percent to 3.78 reais. Ferrovia Centro Atlantica SA said it signed a memorandum of understanding to develop a feasibility study for a railroad in Rio de Janeiro state for LLX, according to a regulatory filing.
Natura Cosmeticos SA (NATU3 BS) gained 1.5 percent to 37.65 reais. Brazil’s biggest cosmetics maker was raised to “neutral” from “underperform” at Credit Suisse Group AG.
QGEP Participacoes SA (QGEP3 BS) climbed 1.2 percent to 15.48 reais. The oil company controlled by Queiroz Galvao SA agreed to buy part of Shell Brasil Petroleo Ltda.’s stake in the BS-4 block in Brazil’s Santos Basin, according to a regulatory filing today.
