Africa Israel, Oil Refineries, Ogen: Israel Equity Preview

Aug. 15 (Bloomberg) -- The following stocks may rise or fall in Israeli markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses after the company names and prices are from the close unless otherwise stated.

The TA-25 Index advanced 2.8 percent to 1,098.18 in Tel Aviv.

Africa Israel Residences Ltd. (AFRE IT): The property developer said second-quarter profit rose to 14 million shekels from 12.5 million shekels a year earlier. Africa Israel retreated 1.9 percent to 33.48 shekels.

Dan Vehicle & Transportation Ltd. (DVT IT): The operator of the Avis car rental agency in Israel said second-quarter income fell to 826,000 shekels from 21.3 million shekels a year ago. Dan Vehicle increased 7.7 percent to 23.30 shekels

Ogen Real Estate Ltd. (OGEN IT): The property company signed an agreement to invest 20 million shekels in a solar energy project. Ogen was unchanged at 10.56 shekels.

Oil Refineries Ltd. (ORL IT): The country’s largest refiners said second-quarter net income dropped to $18 million from $32 million a year earlier. Oil Refineries fell 1.8 percent to 2.022 shekels.
