Aug. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the previous close.
The Jakarta Composite index fell 3 percent to 3,735.12.
Energy companies: Crude oil futures advanced as much as 4 percent to $82.43 a barrel in after-hours trading in New York, rising from a 10-month low. PT Medco Energi Internasional (MEDC IJ), Indonesia’s biggest listed oil company, fell 2.1 percent to 2,325 rupiah. PT Energi Mega Persada (ENRG IJ), the second biggest, plunged 8.3 percent to 188 rupiah.
PT Aneka Tambang (ANTM IJ): Indonesia’s second-biggest nickel producer plans to gradually issue rupiah bonds valued at $350 million in domestic and overseas markets, Kontan reported, citing Finance Director Djaja Tambunan. The company will start issuing the bonds in October, the report said. Aneka dropped 2.7 percent to 1,820 rupiah.
PT Bank Central Asia (BBCA IJ): PT BCA Finance, a unit of the bank, may sell 1 trillion rupiah ($117 million) of bonds in the first-half of next year to boost its financing business, Bisnis Indonesia reported, citing President Director Roni Haslim. Bank Central Asia, Indonesia’s biggest lender by market value, lost 2.5 percent to 7,850 rupiah.
PT Intraco Penta (INTA IJ): The company’s 2011 net income may reach 155.8 billion rupiah or climb 88 percent from last year, Investor Daily Indonesia reported, citing Finance Director Fred Manibog. The Indonesian heavy-equipment distributor increased its revenue target to 3 trillion rupiah from 2.7 trillion rupiah, the report said. Intraco declined 5.2 percent to 730 rupiah.
PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka (KIJA IJ): The industrial real-estate developer plans to raise 1.5 trillion rupiah in a rights offer to acquire PT Banten West Java Tourism Development and PT Tanjung Lesung Leisure Industry, Bisnis Indonesia reported, citing Muljadi Suganda, corporate secretary at Jababeka. The company also plans to issue $150 million of debt for business expansion, the report said. The stock dropped 1.9 percent to 153 rupiah.
